MATERIALS HANDLERS

Materials handlers are specialized hydraulic machines that use a 4 or 5 tine, orange peel style grapple to either pick up materials, or pick up an industrial sized electromagnet to maneuver scrap materials. These machines are very fast and have a long reach. And our crew at Wheeler knows them inside and out! We’ve been repairing and rebuilding materials handlers since the ’90’s when these machines started to replace cable cranes in Vancouver and the lower mainland.

The most common manufacturers are Leibherr and Sennebogen, but it doesn’t matter what logo is on the side, we can take care of it for you.
